Muium Butterfly Sandals

It’s been a good while since I have done a heel review, so I thought I would bless the blog with a gorgeous pair. Now these would be classed as summer sandals, however I see them being perfect for Christmas parties coming up!

So these were gifted by an amazing follower a while back, and once again it has taken me some time to get into them to review. Luckily I will be wearing these out soon for some parties lined up before Christmas!

The Packaging: so these came packaged quite well (although I have seen better to be honest). The box came slightly bent in and damaged on the outside, so I was praying that the heels were ok inside.

These came individually wrapped in plastic and the front strap slightly padded out. So let me tell you what I had to do for around a month to straighten the wings out:

  1. I first had to keep them in plastic so they don’t end up dusty
  2. Then getting a claw clip or a clasp to pin the wings back together on each heel.
  3. Leave for a good period of time to get rid of the bend they have in them
  4. This leaves me with a good pair of wings sitting at the back of the heel rather than around!

Getting Them On: my feet slipped right into these. I wasn’t too sure if the strap would be tight or loose, but these fit like a dream. Just remember that these are true to size; so if you’re feet are quite hot, you will struggle to get them into the strap. This always happens to me, then gets me thinking that they are too small when actually they are a perfect fit!

Strapping these up was easily done; you just need to buckle it in where you think is appropriate around your ankles and then just hook on and you’re done. It’s one of those weird ones, but it works so well!

On The Feet: they look so dreamy!!!! I love the way the gold and white work so well giving a real luxury look. You can always opt for a silver butterfly but I feel it doesn’t stand out as much as the gold does.

Around the toes, the strap sits really well across them and the ankle strap (I have mine quite tight as I walk super fast) kept my feet secure in them.

A good little tip is to wear gel insoles or cushioned so it stops your feet from sliding forward.

I normally tend to do that with some of my heels which have a real smooth base to them and it’s not a good look when you’re dancing away and your toes are hanging out!

As I mentioned before, the fit is true to size, so do make sure you measure your feet before and check against their sizing guide, or just go one size up and add insoles in to help tighten them slightly.

My Thoughts?

These are so gorgeous and I am so glad they are now out to play! I love the way they look and fit as well. They are such a cute statement piece in themselves!

  1. Stunning sandals, soni. I love the golden butterfly on them. As always your legs and feet are amazing in them.I know they are a summer shoe and I wouldnt wear tights with them then but I would probably pair them with nude or the eterno breeze tights you reviewed last week.
