When it comes to new heels, I cannot wait to get them on to review. Now these babies were gifted some time back and I finally have the time to sit down to review them properly! Not only that, I can get to wear these just in time for my birthday!
These are a pair I wish I could wear to work, but there is no way I could tone these down enough, so I’m keeping them for those special nights out!

The Packaging: so not too impressed on how they came through the door. The box was pretty battered and bruised, but thankfully the shoes were ok! They had their own mesh bags, wrapped in that light foam padding thing (can you tell I don’t know what the name of it is?!)
So I would advise taking care in unwrapping patent heels, as there have been many times (in the past) where I have been eager to get them on, and have scratched or damaged them in the process!
Getting Them On: so once I got my foot into them, I realised that maybe the UK 6 is slightly too big for me (I’m between UK 5 and 6). Not only that, the strap and buckle are way too long for my ankles… This sucks!
So this is gonna need a bit of work doing to it before I can actually wear them out and about. The strap being the main thing. The actual heels I can use gel insoles or heel grips to help pad them out a bit so they fit my feet better.
On The Feet: so minus the fact that they are slightly too big, these look amazing! A pair I certainly haven’t seen before, but I love!
The colour contrast is something that makes them really stand out; I wouldn’t have paired them together myself but I actually love them when they are on.
The fit of them would have been better if they were my size, but the plus side is that I can actually control how to make them fit me rather than trying to squish my feet in (if that makes sense!)
Wearing them for a few hours, I found that my feet did start to hurt slightly as there is no platform on the base, so you’re mainly on the balls of your feet. They don’t rub as I thought they might; I find some peep toes to have rough edges which start cutting up the toes and edges of your foot, but these were perfectly fine.
The peep toe is a decent size showing 2 toes through them; although it can vary on how big or small your toes are to be honest.
Once I get the strap sorted to fit my ankle properly, these will look amazing. I hate having low straps on the ankles; I prefer them to sit just above (where my black and cream anklet sits).
The soles of these are very slippery, so once again I will need to buff these up a little to make them have some grip to them.
A right stunning pair I have to say. I love the way they look, and how both colours really work together. It would give it such a cute twist to any outfit you decide to pair it with allowing you to play with colours.
