Yep Fiore is on the scene again, this time with the Storia Stockings I keep seeing everywhere! They came about a good while ago and I was so hesitant to get a pair (as you know their quality went downhill for some time) but I decided to just go for it and see how I get on!
Materials: 72% Polyamide, 15% Polypropylene, 13% Elastane
I opted for the proper office look this time; long sleeve top tucked into my high waisted bodycon skirt. I added my peep toe booties and small drop earrings to finish the look. I kept my hair up too and voila!

The Packaging: so the front is pretty enticing; it focuses on the back of the model wearing the stockings along with the brand name and make. Very simple, clean, and I love it!
The back is so basic; no detail is given apart from materials and sizing.
Once you get in, you find these flat packed, however the design is on the sides where you have the crease, so use this as a guide to get your hosiery on.
Getting Them On: I used the scrunch and roll just making sure that I take care over anklets and not snag them either! These are pretty easy to line up on the legs as long as you have the seam straight to begin with from the heel.
Let me just mention as I am using a 6 strap belt, I did my placement as little more different; the back strap that goes over the tushy I decided to wear on the side instead as it makes it more comfortable when I’m at work sitting all day. So you will see in the images that it’s on bent; I did that for a reason.
On The Legs: these are really nice you know! The denier is fab for 40 – still got a bit of sheerness to them which is fab.
The fit and feel is just great on these; I wore mine quite high (as always) and they stayed put all day as well! Around the ankles, under the knees, around the thighs these are just great! They hug the legs really well and don’t feel loose at all.
The design is simply gorgeous; that’s one of the reasons why I bought this pair as it’s so vintage-looking and it’s a classy piece to dress for work or a formal night out. Either way I love how it works right from the toes to the band; from a heavy print to that backseam to a medium piece under the band.
Now let me get down to the quality; it’s decent! I actually didn’t have any problems wearing these for once, which makes my opinion of Fiore a little less negative. They were kept snag-free, however I would like to trial run these on a busy day and see how they get on.
The Toes & Ankles: I think the toes are reinforced on these, as they have a subtle strip going across them but not too sure as it wasn’t stated on the packaging.
Now around the front of the foot, these are super. They’re smooth, they’re soft and they have a lovely sheen to them. The back of the foot has that vintage-like design starting from under the toes working it’s way all around the soles and then leading into a backseam from the ankle up.
Around the ankles, there is no creasing or crinkling from the hosiery falling down or becoming loose, so it’s all good here!
The Band: I feel bad as I normally go up close on the band, but as my laser session is due, I can’t go all in as you’ll just see small hairs which isn’t that attractive. So I will keep it at a good distance!
Now the band is super soft (and stunning thin too) and great for metal clasps to grip onto. They aren’t silky, which makes it even better to grip and stay up throughout the day!
These don’t leave any marks on the legs after wearing them unless you apply pressure, otherwise it’s all good!
I think these are worth it, and the fact that you can get them a lot cheaper now, you should get a pair if these catch your eye!
The quality was the biggest issue for me, and these have passed the test for me!
I love the design of these, and one to dress up or down with as well.
