I don’t know if you have seen, but they have some gorgeous as well as striking key pieces, and this is one of the striking pieces I decided to go for! They are totally different, and pretty weird looking … But that sums me up perfectly!

The Review

From The Website: Eleonor is an absolute stunner of a design, and a pair of fashion tights that truly leave you speechless. This is how fashion should be; so creative and new that you cannot simply say it is an argyle print on your legs. This is part reptile skin, part abstract, part jaguar. There is no way to truly sum it up, except that it is a deeply impressive design. This is exactly as fashion should be.

* 20 denier
* Modern animal print
* Striking design
* Sheer
* Matt look
* Soft knitted waistband
* 52% Polyester
* 42% Polyamide
* 6% Elastane

The Packaging: You can spot Wolford packaging from a mile off, and honestly it is true. They all tend to look the same, but I say that in a good way though for those who are just getting into brands.

The front shows the model wearing them with her gorgeous legs, and the back always gives you a little blurb about the hosiery:

It’s exciting: The legendary, opaque, sheer knitting technique embodies life in the city jungle. The pattern becomes more dense at the centre front and provides an additional effect. Matt look. Comfortable, soft knitted waistband.

Inside, you will find the quality assurance sticker (always look out for this) and the hosiery neatly folded around cardboard. When you take it out, you will see it slightly shaped to your legs, which means these are gonna be a gorgeous fit.

Getting Them On: always scrunch and roll with Wolford; being a luxurious brand, the last thing you want is to ruin them as soon as you get them on your legs. They are pretty sturdy things so you don’t need to worry, but no harm in taking precautions! I used that subtle leg shaping they have to help me get these on as easily as possible; it always helps as it means it slips exactly where it needs to on the toes and you can work up from there on rather than faffing around.

As these are a heavy design, you don’t need to worry about lining it up straight. This is the one time where my OCD doesn’t kick in and I let it be!

On The Legs: I am loving these. I’m normally XS in Wolford, but being in a Small there isn’t a massive amount of difference to be honest. It just means slightly extra nylon coverage rather than it being pulled all across the legs.

The colour is just perfect (I always love Gobi); it adds this subtle tan to the legs which makes them look flawless, and against the black, it really helps to make them as striking as possible!

There are no crinkle areas as I thought there may have been as I opted for the next size up. The feel is just too smooth and to die for; it isn’t shiny at all and looks more of a matte finish, but these are still soft and smooth! These are a matt finish, which work really well. I don’t think it would have that amazing look if it was shiny!

The quality is superb on these; not one snag, pull or run on the legs! These you can pinch and pull into place without having to worry about ripping them!

The design is to die for; it is very bold and wild I know – kinda looks like some wildlife print on the legs, but I love it! Something that you can dress up or down, pair with a formal outfit to give it a bit of personality !

The Toes & Ankle: the design starts from the toe seam so bring on the open toe shoes and sadals! It would look so funky wearing bright coloured nail varnish underneath, but as I’m rocking a dark purple (slowly chipping away now), it makes it look a little more sultry.

The toes are always sturdy on Wolfords so you shouldn’t have a problem with long nails. Oh I forgot to mention, lots of wiggle room in these too!

Around the ankles, it’s a smooth finish with no sings of wrinkles!

The Waistband: always comfortable! I do adore the Wolford bands as they never really dig into your or roll over itself during the day; they stay put, they stay flat and they stay comfortable all day long. This sits around my belly button which is perfect for me and I can’t say it does go any higher unless you really tug at it; then again it would only fall back down into place.

The design also works right to the top of the band, so bring on those short shorts and dresses to proper emphasise your legs!

My Thoughts?

All I’m gonna say is – you won’t regret these! I am loving the design, I am loving the colour of them and I am loving how my legs became this amazing statement piece! If you have quite a loud personality and want it to shine through what you wear, these are a pair to go for!

As I mentioned before, you can wear these in multiple ways, so don’t be afraid to trial them out with an outfit that you wouldn’t imagine pairing it with!
