And we are back to patterned opaques! I fancied a bit of a change, and for some reason I went for these. I know I should wait until it starts to get darker, but then again I’m on who doesn’t follow the whole Autumn / Winter trend, so you’ll still see me wearing sheers throughout hehe!
Colour: Nero / Black
Size: 2 / Small
Materials: 92% Polyamide, 8% Elastane
Now seeing as these tights are toned down a bit, I decided to make them the subtle piece and went with greys and blacks.
As my skirt is a tad short for work, I added in thigh high boots, so you still get to see the design when I stand up.
I had my hair up and small hoops in to make it a little more casual than usual!
The Packaging: now we’re onto actual models wearing the hosiery now rather than the half drawn ones. It’s nice to see them pair it with an outfit (or top at least) so you can get rough ideas on what to wear (that’s if you’re ever stuck)! So that’s the front, and at the back you get the same old format, with the following:
“Tights for ladies, patterned, with exclusive softness, made of micro-fibre, matt, without a marker knickers’ part, with a small gusset.”
On The Legs: they are super soft, and so smooth and just so damn nice. I actually didn’t expect them to feel like this if I am honest; it really did take my by surprise. They do feel really nice rolling them on your legs, and during the day no matter how much you stretch them, they still feel really nice and not grainy at all.
The Toes: enough wiggle room in these that’s for sure. I won’t say it’s baggy around this area as it isn’t, but it’s certainly comfortable in these boots. Sometimes you can feel pressure on the toes (especially in closed footwear), but you don’t with these, so it’s always a bonus! These aren’t reinforced by the way, but as they’re a thicker denier, you shouldn’t have too much of a problem with longer toenails.
The Waistband: I love the band on this. It’s so nice and soft and doesn’t dig in at all. It sits belly button / slightly under, which is perfect for me. I hate when they go higher than that unless you’re wearing a dress, it can look so wrong! Got great elasticity in it too, which I certainly tested out!!!
The Design: it’s very subtle and perfect for those who are just trying out patterned. This is aimed for more of the Autumn / Winter collection, however nothing stopping you from wearing them right now! The more you stretch them, the more you see the design just stand out. It’s nothing too bold, but something that adds nicely to your outfit. I made my a subtle piece under my boots, which I think worked really well.
Now 50 denier can be hit and miss at times, but these really do cover your legs if you have any little issues with them. I would certainly recommend if you’re looking for coverage with something that still looks like enough!
I really am digging these; they’re pretty nice and they do their job well. They make your legs look and feel good, and the quality is superb! If you’re after something simple but makes your legs feel good (especially when you run your hands over them) – these should be your go to pair!
