Charnos Viscose Spot Tights

I really hate when the weather cannot make up its mind. One minute we are having amazing sunshine with some high temps and the next it’s raining with dark clouds! So I couldn’t make my mind up what I wanted to wear with these, so I decided to go snug seeing as the temperature had dropped!

My Outfit

I went with an oversized jumper paired with my strapped belt to make it look more fit and flare from the waist down and then just added slippers as I was at home all day!

I kept my hair up seeing it was a day where I was on a mission to get stuff done, so hair up means business!

The Review

The Website:

* Cosy polka dot tights
* Pattern from brief to toe
* 73% Viscose
* 19% Polyamide
* 5% Polypropylene
* 3% Elastane
“Fashionable and functional is what most of us require and these viscose spot tights are perfect for both. Cosy and soft they will feel lovely against your skin, whilst keeping out the winter chills.”

The Packaging: it comes open (that means no plastic to protect it) – then again these are a thick denier pair so they should withstand snags pretty well in transit. The front shows the model wearing the tights and the back is the sizing guide as well as the materials used to make them. Pretty short, sweet and simple!

Getting Them On: I used scrunch and roll on these purely because I didn’t want to have to pull down my anklets from my calves if I pulled them right up my legs! There is no need to line-up with these – just get them on and you’re ready to go! A simple easy everyday pair for the simple person! Oh I also took an image of the cotton gusset so you can see what it’s like inside of them. It’s not a huge one like some pairs can be, but still pretty decent.

The Toes: I gotta say you get wiggle room in these! I found it was quite baggy around the ends of my toes but when you start to move in them, they just readjust themselves and it becomes comfortable! I don’t have any nail varnish on so you won’t see any colour shining through with these, but you can notice that they aren’t a darker denier (you still see some sheer peering through)

The Waistband: is so comfortable to be in. I had a waist-belt on the whole day over these, but it did not feel like there was a waistband underneath! It’s quite a thick one, but it’s super comfortable. The seam sits right bang in the middle and to be honest, it’s a seam that would poke through bodycons, so make a note not to pair with the most tightest dress or skirt!

The Feel & Look: it’s so soft to touch (pretty much like cashmere) and they were so good to me the whole day. I didn’t have any problems with snagging, they didn’t fall down at all and they just sat perfectly on me like they’re supposed to. I honestly couldn’t fault these if I am honest. The denier I actually really like, as it’s not a block opaque! Don’t get me wrong, I do love opaques, but these work for days in summer (if you’ve got hairy legs but still want a bit of sheerness). I love how they look and these can easily be worn to work too! Even though I paired with a casual outfit, I would certainly wear them to work in A/W!

My Thoughts?

No doubt about it, if they had different colours I would certainly get myself other pairs! I think they’re totally worth it, an you get your money’s worth which is the main thing. They’re comfortable, they can be dressed up or down and they’re really good quality too. I do like Charnos – it’s always been an affordable favourite of mine, and these are one of those pairs that will pretty much work with everything and anything!

Thank you UK Tights! *kisses*
