I seriously can’t seem to get away from fishnets at the moment! It’s just a craze that I’m going through seeing as it’s still in trend and I see it going for a while too!

This blog is more of a casual one of an outfit I wore last weekend (a lot of you have seen it on my Instastory as it was too good to now show off!) and it makes a change from being dressed up all the time; I know some of my followers love it when I go casual!

My Outfit

Seeing as I wanted to grey it out, I went for my cute grey open back top, with my ripped jeans and some amazing heels from my sister in London! I did switch to my white converses for driving, but back in those heels for the rest of the afternoon!

I left my hair down but had it oomphed up to make it look more dressed up if you get my drift.

To finish off the look, I added large hoop earrings and my choker set!

The Review

I’ve ordered from Dress My Legs before but never really did an in depth review about my purchases before I got them so I thought I would take the opportunity to do so in this blog!

The Site: I found their site really easy to use and their shipping time is really quick! I half expected it to be as they are based in Ireland, but these came in a matter of days! Everything is in euros, but you can always calculate the average using the Google conversion.

This is what the site has written about this gorgeous pair:

Super soft to the touch and very comfortable to wear, these classic fishnet tights will add allure and glamour to any outfit! With a cotton gusset to keep you fresh all day long, they are perfect for a sexy look in the summer or for layering over coloured tights in colder months.
Available in a variety of colours to suit every occasion.”

Toe: sheer
Gusset: cotton
Finish: matte
Brand: Veneziana
Technology: Dorlastan, the Elastic Fiber
Fabric Content: 79% polyamide, 18% elastane, 3% cotton

The Packaging: is just how Veneziana always do it. Very clean, to the point with the model wearing the hosiery and a very rich looking package. It’s always either black backgrounds or golds I have noticed. I haven’t come across any other colours yet.

The front of the packaging shows the model with the colour in the top left corner next to the peep hole and the back states the following in various languages:

Fishnet tights with elastane, soft waistband, sheer to waist cotton gusset

Inside: is where the fun begins. They were neatly wrapped around cardboard where the colour of them stood out. Thank god the cardboard wasn’t inside them as it would be a nightmare to get them out.

The Feel of Putting Them On: is slightly rough to touch. It’s not a soft material but then again I wouldn’t expect them to be as they are micronets. I know they can when they are larger and turning into fishnets, but these do feel thick and slightly tough – it just means that they will last very well!

I used the scrunch and roll to go over my anklets as I didn’t want them catching onto anything and being ripped! Plus it made it easier to line up against the toes and work from there!

Up The Legs: you can stretch these how much you like and they will always revert back to their original state. I tried to make them larger, but it does shrink back and become smaller nets, so you know these have some serious strength behind them!

Getting My Jeans On: on top of these were really hard. I mentioned that they felt rough before and trying to get fitted skinny jeans was a mission; it kept tugging my tights up so I had to keep wiggling my jeans up and down to make them sit properly underneath. The ankles is the worst part as it doesn’t sit flush unless you tug them down so they do!!!

I finally got there in the end, but it was hard work!

The Toes: is where I had to be extremely careful! As these are fine nets which doesn’t have that toe section where it’s blocked – they just had the seam line and that was it – the nets had started.

As my toenails are super long at the moment, the whole time I was in these shoes, I could just see them pop out of the holes and had to keep pulling them over to make sure that they don’t split. That’s the last thing that I need!!!

Room wise – there is plenty as these are really elasticated so your toes don’t feel cramped in them. Heck mine are just doing their own thing in them!

The Waistband: is just to die for! Very slim, bold and does the job well. they have held up all day without aa fuss and that’s without the hold of the jeans on them either. These sat higher so I was testing to see how they last – and they’re fab! if you’re the type to show the band off, these are a set to do it with!!

The Colour: is different and I am so glad I got them in grey. I also bought the same in a red pair so will be trying them out soon too! It’s not too dark or too light, and this can be worked with a lot of outfits. I know I did casual as my first one, but next time I will be dressing this for work to show you the difference.

Overall Thoughts?

These are to die for. I love this brand anyways but their nets are amazing. A good quality pair and a lovely colour too, which makes it worth your while!

No snags, no problems and a gorgeous addition to the outfit!

Thank you Dress My Legs! *kisses*
