Now let’s break my Max Mara virginity with this stunning pair! I got these a while back and finally got the chance to get them out! I am delayed in getting this review out to you all as I’ve been so manic at work and moving house, I just never had the time!
I paired these up with my electric blue bodycon dress and my grey peep toe shoe boots to give it that edgey look. You can also do these with some sexy heels or a pair of converses/trainers too!
I went with a different colour combo to not only make my legs the statement piece, but to also add change it up a little.
Bodycon Dress: AX Paris
Tights: Max Mara via Luxury Legs
Shoe Boots: New Look
I am impressed with the packaging of these – very simple yet classy packaging showing the design of them at the front on the legs of a model and then a small breakdown at the back of the material etc. They were wrapped well inside too – very pristine I must say. They were around the cardboard (as they should be) and also subtly shaped as well.
As far as I can see there is no reinforced toes – and it doesn’t state on the packaging or on the website where I got them from.
The Feel: very soft and delicate. The netting is really smooth and really silky – so lovely to touch. it also glides on the legs when getting them on. Anklets won’t be a problem with these as long as you’re careful. You may need to scrunch and roll to be on the safe side with a pair of hosiery gloves on. I did it without and nearly snagged it on my nails!
The waistband is amazing – very sturdy and keeps them in place all day too. With bodycons, they tend to move them but that wasn’t the case this time around.
I absolutely love the details on these – I have a similar pair which were 3D that I bought a while back that I still have to this day! It’s really intricate and I do love the way it works from the leg upwards with it being slightly stretched on the thighs. I normally hate it when tights do this but with these I think it just adds to it (makes others look harder at the pattern hehe!)
The only downside I have to say is that these do snag easily (I ended up getting it caught in my damn nail!) so just be wary!!!
